JACKET OF THE WEEK
WELCOME TO JACKET OF THE WEEK
Each week, I create a single, one-of-a-kind jacket — my Jacket of the Week.
This weekly piece is my space to experiment, to play with fabric combinations, textures, and ideas I’m curious to explore. Sometimes these jackets become part of my 'range' and can be repeated because I have enough fabric. If you like a particular jacket of the week, just hit the 'email for made to order' button and we can start the ball rolling in creating one for you!
Inspiration can come from anywhere — a rare fabric shop find, a piece of embroidery that captures something from nature, or a new upcycling idea I’ve been wanting to try.
There’s always a moment in the making when I’m not sure it’s going to work — and I’ve come to love that part. It reminds me that I’m still learning, still stretching, still creating something honest.
I share the process each week on Facebook and Instagram — from first spark to finished piece — and you’re warmly invited to follow along, join the conversation, and see each jacket come to life.
Click the links below to follow the journey — I’d love to have you along for the ride.

THE LORRAINE JACKET - £295.00
I love embellishment and fabric manipulation. There is nothing more exciting than taking a scrap of fabric and turning into it something beautiful. This jacket is crafted from upcycled hand printed indigo-dyed cotton this jacket is truly one of a kind. This jacket features decorative handstitching, handmade cords and fabric roses. Full of history, character, and texture — this jacket gives new life to old cloth, creating something beautifully modern from something deeply worn.

THE JOANNE COAT - £245.00
Made from a mixture of Indigo Denim and Linen this jacket is perfect for the transition from Winter to Spring. This jacket brings together the rugged soul of denim with the soft romance of floral linen. Designed to celebrate individuality, this jacket is both structured and free-spirited, tough yet tender. Throw it on over anything, and it instantly becomes a statement. Bold Contrast, Effortless Charm.
Fastening with two front buttons and lined to the waist this jacket can be worn with a simple T and jeans or with a silk blouse and formal trousers.
Like all my jackets this can be hand washed in cold water, or dry cleaned if you prefer.

THE HOPE JACKET - INDIGO - £175.00
Crafted from hand printed indigo-dyed cotton quilts constructed in India. These jackets feature traditional Kantha handstitching. No two are the same. Full of history, character, and texture — these one-of-a-kind pieces give new life to old cloth, creating something beautifully modern from something deeply worn.

THE PHILIPPA WAISTCOAT - £195.00
Made out of an 8oz recycled black denim this waistcoat has a soft feel and drapes beautifully,
This jacket features a handmade chambray ruffle which is further embellished with some handstitching. There are over 6 metres of chambray strips in this jacket which makes the ruffles a real statement.
The skirt is circular and as the jacket is shorter at the front than at the back it has the effect of a peplum jacket. (It moves beautifully when you walk)

THE SANDRA JACKET - £225.00
The Sandra Jacket is made from an 8oz Stonewashed charcoal grey denim. The jacket is unlined making it perfect for the warmer weather. This jacket features a frayed frill down the whole length of front and is further embellished with some handmade denim roses. There is also some hand top stitching which runs around the edges of the jacket. The jacket has a circular skirt and is longer at the back than at the front.
It fastens at the centre front with two miliary buttons.
Like all my jackets it can be hand washed in cold water or dry cleaned if you prefer.

THE ROSE COAT - £245.00
The Rose Coat is made from an 8oz mid blue denim and it has a little stretch. This coat is unlined making it perfect for the summer months. The bodice features a wonderfully dramatic frilled collar made from Indian Block Printed Cotton. It also features decorative fabric roses which are hand made in the same denim as the coat and the same block print cotton as the collar. There are also some white linen roses. The bodice is finished with some hand embroidery in white japenese thread. The skirt is circular making it very full and it is longer at the back than at the front. There are no pockets in this coat as I have found that putting pockets into a circular skirt spoils the 'line' of the jacket skirt. It fastens with two military style buttons.
Like all my jackets and coats this can be hand washed in cold water or dry cleaned if you prefer.

THE VICKI COAT - £245.00
The Vicki Coat is made out of an 8oz mid blue denim with a little bit of stretch. This jacket in unlined making it perfect for the summer months. This jacket has a circular skirt and a dipped hemline, meaning it is longer at the back than the front. It fastens with two military style buttons.
All my jackets can be hand washed in cold water, or dry cleaned if you prefer.

THE EVE WAISTCOAT - £175.00
The Eve Waistcoat is made from an 8oz beautiful cornflower blue denim. This exquisite waistcoat is the perfect garment for the spring and summer months.
With it's hand crafted trim made from the same fabric as the jacket this is an extremely versatile piece.
The skirt is shorter at the front than at the back, featuring a dipped hem.
It fastens with two military style buttons.
Like all my jackets and coats this can washed by hand in cold water or dry cleaned if preferred.

THE CYNTHIA WAISTCOAT - £195.00
Made with a truly exquisite fabric insert that I found in a pile of off cuts. Apparently it should have been £50.00 a meter, and I can believe that was true. The body of this waistcoat is a mid blue denim. With White topstitching detail and military style buttons this a versatile piece for the warmer weather. Wear with your favourite blue jeans and a an off white or navy tee!

THE HOPE JACKET - £175.00
Quite often the Jacket of the Week is made from an up-cycled Kantha quilt from India. These stunning jackets are a real statement piece and extremely popular! Because each jacket is made from old saris, no two quilts are the same. Whilst the jacket is unlined, it is 'backed' with a cotton muslin giving it a slight padded feel and a lovely drape.
